Chart notes
SLEW SKIES settled inside, mounted a rail bid to mid-stretch, drew away into the final furlong and kept to task late. HEXCEL settled mid-pack, bid four wide upper stretch, outkicked by the winner, second best. ALLIGATOR CRAWL unhurried early, roused five wide to stretch, closed for third. CRAZY RIDGE tracked the loose pacesetter to second turn, vied three wide upper, weakened past mid-stretch. DECLARE WAR settled, saved ground to second turn, no late response. LITTLE WARRIOR shuffled start, allowed to settle, trailed to quarter pole, no factor. LEGITIMATE TARGET (GB) showed speed and set the pace to the backstretch, held a long lead to far turn, caught in upper stretch, tired in the drive.
