Chart notes
LIGHTENING MO prominent early, contested the pace three wide to the backstretch, took command into the second turn, held off foes to upper stretch, dug in into the final furlong and drew away late to hold sway. ALLIACEOUS well placed in the early going, tracked four wide to second turn, bid to mid-stretch, turned away in the drive and was second best. PAT HAND GIRL off slow and allowed to settle, coaxed between foes and two wide to upper stretch, was no match for the top pair and closed for third. AVERI EVER AFTER contested pace two wide to second turn, faded past quarter pole. GYPSYROSELEE stalked from the inside, chased to upper stretch, tired drive. EMMAS RULER shuffled start, settled inside, no factor.
