Chart notes
DIXIE'S TWO STENTS trailed for nearly five furlongs, circled rivals five wide through the far turn and into the stretch, made the lead near the three sixteenths pole, dropped to the rail then drew off under left handed urging to win going away. MR. PENNY PINCHER well placed, rallied three wide into the far turn to make the lead near the five sixteenths pole, drifted out from the two path to the four wide entering the stretch then was no match for the winner while clearly second best LAW OF THE JUNGLE unhurried early, four then three wide through the far turn, drifted in bumping WETZEL at the top of the stretch then leveled off. K KID allowed to settle, was in tight between rivals entering the far turn, dropped back to trail then came on again late. WETZEL unhurried while four wide, loomed boldly three wide past the quarter pole, was forced out a bit by the runner up then bumped by LAW OF THE JUNGLE at the top of the stretch causing his rider to check then lost momentum. MOMMA K'S BOY failed to menace. LUST FOR LIFE set a pressured pace along the inside into the far turn then was used up. OKLAHOMA JOE pressed the pace two wide and stopped on the far turn. SIGHT UNSEEN pressed the early pace three wide and was through after a half. THE STEWRDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF WETZEL LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF LAW OF THE JUNGLE FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
