Z BOSS settled two wide down the backstretch, began to close ground along the inside into the stretch, shifted out to the five path, surged under left handed urging inside the sixteenth pole and was along in time. IT'S LAST CALL stalked the pace four wide into the stretch, rallied to make the lead inside the sixteenth pole then was caught in the final strides. DON CORLEONE made the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace along the inside until deep stretch then was outfinished. BOUND TO SUCCEED wide early, bid five wide into the stretch then leveled off. PREDECESSOR failed to menace. BOLT'S TREASURE bobbled at the start and was no threat. DAYTONA GOLD pressed the pace two wide into the stretch and gave way late. NYDINI was no factor. ISLAND BOSS pressed the early pace three wide and was through after a half mile.
