Chart notes
TOWER GROVE PARK chased in the five path, ranged up under a drive passing the quarter, swung from the six path into the stretch, kicked on to take command going by the sixteenth pole, and drew clear. MIDWEST WILDCAT bumped with an inner foe at the start, stalked in the three path, took command midway around the turn, was roused at the top of the lane, kept on while staying on his left lead, but was overtaken by an outer foe around the sixteenth. DON'TTAPTHETILL bumped on both sides at the start, was wellback in the three path early, improved under a ride around the turn, floated out to the five path in upper stretch, and got up for show. PLAYGROUND WARRIOR pressed in the two path but weakened from the three path in the final furlong. LAST RETURN set the pace inside but yielded in the stretch. K J 'S RANSOM bumped with an outer foe at the start, then trailed throughout around the two to three paths.
