Chart notes
BETHY stalked in the four path, was cued midway around the turn, took aim while swinging from the five path into the lane, stuck her head in front going by the furlong grounds, and drew clear. HIALEAH HOTTIE bumped with an outer foe at the start, laid up close in the two path, waited in the three path around the turn, was roused between foes in the four path at the top of the stretch, could not keep up with an outer foe in the final furlong, but kept on to edge place. MOON RIDGE bumped with an inner foe at the start, set the pace in the three path but faded in the final furlong. ROCK THE BIRDHOUSE chased in the three path, was driven along the inside around the turn, angled out to the six path while on the left lead passing the eighth pole, and finished evenly. DELTA LADY raced off the pace in the five path, floated out to the seven path turning into the stretch, and made no closing bid. LIFE OF SATURDAYS trailed in the four path, fanned out to the nine path at the top of the stretch, and did not threaten. MISS DUTTON had a slow start, was wellback along the inside early and never menaced.
