Chart notes
LATE BLACKSMITH sped to the front and was taken off the inner rail early, kept off the rail around the turn, dueled outside ONE FAST MIDDIE through the stretch and drove clear. ONE FAST MIDDIE , steadied and a bit rank behind the winner near the five eighths pole, was taken to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, bid for the lead on the turn and dueled inside the winner through the stretch in a game effort. FIRE WIRE remained along the inner rail on the turn and through the stretch and steadied lacing room approaching the finish. EL CUERVO FELIS chased the pace, raced in the three path on the turn and lacked the needed late response. KARMA DIRECTOR , checked in close quarters along the rail leaving the backstretch, angled out on the turn, floated six wide entering the stretch and failed to rally. SOUTHERN BREEZE , checked in tight quarters between horses near the five eighths pole, raced in the two path leaving the turn and was not a factor. MANSION PARTY chased the pace four wide and weakened. FOLLOW YOUR DREAM , five wide leaving the turn, gave way. Objections by the rider of SOUTHERN BREEZE against LATE BLACKSMITH and ONE FAST MIDDIE for alleged interference on the backstretch were not allowed. PER RULING #ECM2025-223/ECM FROM HIWU, LATE BLACKSMITH WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST TO UNPLACED FOR A MEDICATION VIOLATION.
