Chart notes
CASTAGNA , sent soon after the start, stalked the pace down the backstretch, gained a two wide lead on the far turn and pulled away through the stretch with something in reserve. HULAH JAY stayed along the inner rail on both turns, eased out to two path approaching the stretch and rallied. YAREE D TAT , four wide the first turn, sprinted clear entering the backstretch and was taken to the inner rail, remained along the rail the far turn and tired in the stretch. SPRING SPINNING , three wide entering the backstretch, moved inside, stayed along the inner rail on the far turn chasing the pace and weakened. VINO VELOCE , unhurried early, was kept wide on the turns and showed some late interest. MS KS DYNASTY , three wide both turns, chased the pace, gave way and was eased. C F V TU BRUTUS , wide the far turn, was always outrun.
