Chart notes
KARAN'S NOTION settled behind the pace in the three path, moved up to contest the lead at the quarter pole, claimed sole command in the final furlong and kicked clear. PARADISE VALLEY settled back to trail early, made a four wide bid in the stretch to find best stride late and improve for second. GOLDEN CANDY pressed the pace from the two path, weakened in the final furlong. BROTHER CONWAY took the early lead on the inside, gave way in the final furlong and faded. SPIKEZONE threw his head to the side right before the gates opened causing him to miss the start and did not run, walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY REGARDING THE START OF SPIKEZONE RESULTED IN NO ACTION BEING TAKEN.
