Chart notes
HEGS settled in the middle of the pack on the inside, steadily advanced up the backstretch to loom boldly four wide around the far turn to claim the lead going into the stretch and held on for the win. ROUGH AND ROWDY settled off the pace, gained position in the far turn to enter the stretch four wide, rallied late to finish second. NIGHT TIME NAP bumped at the start, pressed the pace from the inside, dropped back in the far turn to make a three wide bid between foes at the top of the stretch to improve for show. COUNTRY CHARLIE set the early pace in the two path, yielded the lead at the quarter pole but could not make a comeback. GREAT ARTIST raced behind the pace in the two path, moved up to contest the lead in the far turn before fading in the final furlong. SHELLBACK bumped at the start, vied for the lead early until being pinched back before the first turn, raced behind the pace on the inside, retreated in the final quarter. BOYD'S BAND raced off the pace, never involved. WHIZBANG trailed throughout, no factory.
