Chart notes
AFFAIR broke outward, then vied or pressed the early pace from between horses, went ahead with PRINCESS MITOLE through the turn, pulling clear of the rest, took a slight advantage in upper stretch, widened under strong handling, and easily held safe from a couple of late challengers. ARR PIRATETREASURE raced in the middle of the pack, started a bid on the turn, was gaining some in the late stages, and just held the place over a determined foe. CAN'T ZAP THIS allowed to settle from the break, raced close up just behind the trio contesting the pace, lost some ground early on the turn but came back on under steady handling and just missed the place after dueling ARR PIRATETREASURE through the final furlong. PRINCESS MITOLE took a bump from AFFAIR at the break but was otherwise away in good order, contested the early pace three-wide, went on to duel outside of AFFAIR through the turn, raced on the left lead in the stretch and faltered. GLOBAL HOLIDAY was outrun from the break, tracked three wide near the back of the pack, then was mildly gaining in the stretch. IUKA MISS took the early initiative down the chute, then was inside of three horses contesting the early lead down the backstretch, gave way passing the seven-sixteenths marker, and was unable to contend in the late stages. CAPETOWN CANDY settled well back in the early stages, then lacked a rally. MUCHO MIA raced close up on the inside to the turn, started to lose ground near the three-furlong pole, and was outrun the rest of the trip.
