ARTHUR broke well, made the lead without being pressed, dueled to the outside of MOR JAZZ through the turn, amped up the pressure near the quarter pole only to have the rival come right back, finally gained the advantage in mid-stretch, went clear late under strong handling and urging. DREWMAZING broke alertly, tracked close up three-wide, ceding the front, chased the two leaders from the quarter pole through the stretch, was never getting to the winner but managed to split them late and gain the place. MOR JAZZ got pinballed the start, then rushed up to duel for the lead with ARTHUR, had to be ridden hard to keep up late on the turn, found more at the top of the stretch, but finally gave way in the final furlong. HALF AGAIN tracked four-wide, was unable to threaten and finished evenly. MALIBU BRAD settled back off the pace, lost some ground heading into the turn, but generated a good middle move and a grinding finish late to improve a couple of positions. FLASHY PREMO broke out, brushed with MOR JAZZ and steadied at the start, raced in last down the backstretch, then rallied from far back to improve while never a serious threat. BLING'S BELLWETHER raced well behind the pace and always four to five wide, could not generate anything in the late stages. X J RASCAL (IRE) veered out at the start, tracked in mid-pack always three to four wide, made a mild middle move on the turn but flattened out in upper stretch and tired. FAMILY FACTOR was close up down the backstretch then started to lose ground through the turn and was eased in the stretch, galloped to the wire, and walked off.
