Chart notes
EGOMANIA away well and tracked the pacesetter through the stretch the first time while racing one out from the rail, forced the issue two wide from the outside of VECTOR in the run down the backside and through the final turn, assumed command leaving the turn, and was all out to fend off a late surge by PAY MY WAY to prevail. PAY MY WAY broke sharply and stalked the early pace while racing one out from the rail through the stretch the first time, launched his bid smartly from along the rail entering the final turn, and found his best stride late while closing four wide in deep stretch to just miss. VECTOR away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace from along the rail through the stretch the first time and into the second turn, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backside and into the final turn, and gave way grudgingly late in a solid effort. BAK TO LIBERTY tracked the leader into the stretch the first time while under a snug hold, tipped four wide entering the second turn while carrying BUTTONWOOD TREE out with him, continued with a wide trip in the run down the backstretch and into the final turn, and needed more when called upon. BUTTONWOOD TREE was leaning prior to the start, and broke awkwardly while trailing the field into the first turn, began to advance entering the second turn but was carried five wide into the turn, rushed up to force the issue in the run to the final turn, but weakened over the final furlong.
