Chart notes
ALLEGRISSIMO settled off the early pace, picked up the tempo late on the turn, hustled along three wide at the head of the lane, advanced along the outside, cleared the lead at the sixteenth pole and finished going away. WAGON POWER tracked the clear top pair into the turn, hustled along two wide into the upper stretch, sustained a steady bid and captured place. BIG FURN pressed the early pace along the inside, continued to force the issue around the turn, given cue along the rail at the head of the lane, advanced to take a slim lead at the furlong marker, got overtaken by the winner nearing the final sixteenth and lost place in final strides. BAD BOY BRAWNY sat of the early pace, saved ground around the turn, continued along the inside into the lane and failed to kick on. SPICY NICE set a pressured pace up the backstretch and around the turn, got collared for the lead approaching the furlong marker and gave way. ILLEGAL ICE lacked speed, saved ground and failed to move into contention.
