Chart notes
GROUNDED set the pace on a comfortable lead while well rated, controlled the tempo keeping a steady advantage while well in hand through the far turn, repelled all challenges coming home to never be seriously threatened in the stretch. TWILIGHT DANCER stalked the pacesetter from four wide onto the backstretch, edged closer nearing the half mile pole, continued to prompt the winner through the turn, was put to a drive turning for home, could not get passed the winner and battled gamely to hold the place. HE'S A MESS unhurried to be the trailer to the far turn, circled six wide turning for home and closed well with a late gain to be up for the show. SURLY FURIOUS prompted the early pace from three wide, settled to track the pacesetter down the backside from between rivals while always well placed, crowded rival to his inside entering the far turn, rallied in upper stretch to threaten and was outkicked late in the dirve. REGALO raced mid-pack saving ground along the inside to the far turn, was bumped and crowded against the rail by rival at the three-eighths pole, recovered to remain in contention and kept-on through the lane finishing evenly. FOREVER SOUPER was reserved in hand leaving the gate, gained position into the far turn to be prominently placed six wide turning for home and lacked a closing kock. BIG TO DO was not a threat.
