FLYING MISS stalked the contested early pace while saving ground at the rail, maintained her position in the run down the backside, rallied two wide through the final turn, and found her best stride late while finishing one out from the rail to grab the place in the final strides. BAKBURNER away alertly and pressed the pace from the outside of ARIKARA entering the first turn, sat just off the leaders flank in the run down the backstretch, rallied two wide entering the final turn, and finished four wide in the drive to garner a share. ARIKARA broke sharply and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace from the inside of BAKBURNER in the run down the backside and through the final turn, drifted off the rail entering the lane, and faded late while continuing to drift out. CERTIFIABLE unhurried early while dropping back to trail, was always well back and never menaced.
