PRIME DIRECTIVE broke sharply and tracked the leader in the run down the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied two wide entering the final turn, assumed a narrow advantage midway through the turn, turned for home with a clear advantage entering the stretch, and widened his margin in the late going. KRIS'S GOLD away well, but was allowed to settle off the early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, began to advance midway down the backside, continued with a three wide bid entering the final turn, and finished steadily two out from the rail in the drive to get up for the place in the final strides. FORCED TO RUN away alertly and raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, dictated the pace in the run down the backstretch, was collared, and overtaken soon after entering the final turn, and just failed to hold the place. PICKLEDAGAIN unhurried early while trailing the field in the run to the first turn, saved ground through the first turn, rallied from the back of the pack while continuing to save ground at the rail entering the final turn, and finished with late interest four wide in the drive. CREATIVE UNION stalked the leaders in the run down the backside while racing one out from the rail, commenced his bid two wide entering the final turn, but faded over the final furlong, and had little to offer late.
