JACK'S TIME sped to the lead at the start, cleared and angled inside entering the first turn, set the pace up the backstretch, came under a ride approaching the quarter pole, turned back the bids from close running duo, saved ground entering the lane, roused right handed, responded willingly and pulled away. GATLINBURG raced three wide entering the first turn and tracked the pace up the backstretch, made a bid for JACK'S TIME near the mid-way point around the far turn, was no match for pulling away winner but ran on with response, dug in under firm handling and got up late for place. PARKWAY was forwardly placed around the first turn and prompted the pace up the backstretch, came under a ride approaching the quarter pole, was no match for pulling away winner but sustained bid and got edged late for place, finished well clear over the rest. GLUCKSTADT raced two wide in range mid-way up the backstretch, failed to respond around the far turn and steadily faded. ST. ELMO was unhurried and raced in the back, swung four wide into the upper stretch and never threatened. MAX'S MAP saved ground around the first turn, stalked the pace up the backstretch, weakened under pressure around the final turn and continued to tire in the drive. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
