Chart notes
BETTER THAN GOOD vied outside of HOOKED ON DREAMS soon after the start, raced heads apart around the turn and battled on into the lane, dug in gamely under firm handling and edged away late. HOOKED ON DREAMS vied inside of BETTER THAN GOOD while holding a slight edge in early stages, matched strides around the turn and continued to battle into the lane, fought back gamely from the inside and got denied in final stages. SANGRIA SKY was unhurried and raced in the back, swung four wide into the upper stretch and gained show. PRIZED TAP sat off the early pace, hustled along two wide into the upper stretch and improved position without threatening. BAND'S FREE SPIRIT raced off the clear top pair, hustled along the inside around the turn, ran on into the upper stretch then gave way. CHERRY GLEN was not too far back in early stages then steadily retreated.
