Chart notes
HAYAHLOOKATME raced just off the pace in opening stages, hustled up and advanced to challenge for the lead mid-way around the turn, dueled outside of TRAFALGER'S HERO into the stretch run, shook free under firm handling near the sixteenth pole and edged away. TRAFALGAR'S HERO dueled for the lead soon after the start, battled back along the inside of the eventual winner into the final furlong then yielded late. RUNNING BAYOU vied for the lead in opening stages, battled on to the furlong marker then weakened to show. MARSH CREEK was not too far back in early stages, failed to progress under a ride around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive and offered no late run. MANZONI sat just off the embattled trio, flattened late on the turn and continued to weaken in the lane. LORD HENNESSY vied for the lead soon after the start, could not match strides mid-way around the turn and retreated in the lane.
