Chart notes
CROOKED AS CAN BE set a pressured pace in early stages, held a slim lead around the turn, hustled along two wide into the upper stretch, held a slim advantage in the final furlong, dug in gamely and just lasted. OMERO came away last and steadily advanced along the outside, gained close contention around the turn, swung four wide into the head of the lane, was set down for the drive, dug in gamely in pursuit of CROOKED AS CAN BE, was inching on rival approaching the wire and just missed. I'LL MISS YOU raced in range in early stages, chased two wide around the turn and ran on for a share. MY DREAM ZAPPER raced off the early pace, saved ground then swung three wide into the lane and improved position without threatening. PARDONED raced off the pace, came five wide into the head of the lane and lacked a needed rally. WILBURTON pressed the early pace, chased inside around the turn then tired in the drive.
