Chart notes
DOUBLE THUNDER chased in the three path, was driven in the two path around the turn, swung from the five path into the stretch, and rallied in tandem with a chasing outer foe to draw ahead of the inner leader in the final strides. MAJOR CONTENDER prompted the pace in the four path, lost ground while being fanned out to the six path turning into the lane, but rallied late for place. CARL G vied for the lead inside, kicked away while floating out to the four path in upper stretch, but got caught by an outer pair in the final strides. LUCKY BOSS raced off the pace in the two path, was driven along the rail around the far turn, bid passing the sixteenth pole, but weakened late. MISTER SHARPIE dueled for the lead in the two path but yielded in the four path down the lane.
