Chart notes
HIGH TRACK stalked the pacesetter to the far turn, rallied three wide to challenge for the lead, dueled from the quarter pole home and prevailed late edging clear at the wire. EASTERN SUNRISE set the pace on a clear lead for the first half mile through dawdling fractions, responded when engaged on the far turn to battle with the winner to deep stretch giving way grudgingly late. TANGO ZULU reserved of the pace to race near the rear of the field on the final turn, rallied up the rail in the lane and was gaining late. PEACHES POINT was well placed tracking the leaders from the rail and lacked a closing kick finishing evenly. GULF COAST GIRL raced mid-pack four wide in striking distance to the final turn, rallied to threaten nearing the quarter pole and flattened out unable to sustain the bid. METANOIA trailed throughout as a non-factor.
