MAXIMUM FAITH prompted the pace to the far turn, rallied three wide to engage the leader leaving the quarter pole, was all out in mid-stretch to take a short lead and battled to the wire just holding off the runner-up. D'ORO LEMON reserved off the pace to the final bend, rallied five wide to challenge turning for home, battled though the lane with the winner, edging ever closer and was denied at the wire in a game effort. STRATEGYFORYOU tracked the leaders to midway on the final bend, rallied to loom at the quarter pole and finished willingly lacking enough kick to keep pace with the top pair. PARTY AT THE BEACH set the pace under mild pressure for five-eighths, came under fire on the final bend, responded willingly to hold the lead to mid-stretch and weakened in the final sixteenth in a good effort. ALPHA CAT trailed throughout showing late interest to close the gap in the lane.
