Chart notes
ROCK TUNE stalked the leaders from the fence for a half mile, tipped three wide turning for home to engage the pacesetter in mid-stretch and pulled away in the final eighth. BOOGIE WOOGIE set a pressured pace through the turn, dug-in upper stretch when a new challenger appeared in the winner, proved no match for that one and ran-on to be second best. SPOKEN VOW pressed the pace for a half and weakened turning for home while finishing as best of the rest. HOPE SHE COMES trailed to the head of the lane and showed some late interest without impact. SOLO SURPRISE bumped at the start, reserved off the pace and lacked a response when called upon.
