Chart notes
EUROSTORMSURVIVOR was intent on getting the lead from the start, kept a head in front while being hounded on the front end by a pair of rivals, finished up well under strong handling, got challenges on both sides near the wire, fought back, and came out best in the photo. RISKY WITH WHISKEY was impeded by SOCIAL SOONER at the start, rallied from far back heading into the turn, continued to close ground in the stretch under urging, and was between horses in a three-way photo at the wire. TOUGH TROOPER hustled from the break, pressed to the outside of EUROSTORMSURVIVOR from the start, had a little trouble changing leads at the top of the stretch, but got straightened out, was gaining in the final yards, then came up on the short end of the blanket finish. RUNNING FLAT OUT tracked behind the trio up front, swung four-wide into the stretch, and finished up well. SOCIAL SOONER ducked out sharply at the start, taking out the two rivals in adjacent stalls, then showed no speed and raced far back early, ran on late, came four wide into the stretch, and was mildly gaining in the late stages. TIGERSAURUS REX was bumped off stride after the start, raced in the middle of the pack and finished evenly, never a threat. TEXOMA raced close up inside to the three-furlong pole, then came under a ride and faded.
