Chart notes
EASY AS PIE broke outward at the start while being sent hard to the lead from the break, maintained a slight lead down the backstretch and through the far turn while behind well-handled, opened up a bit late on the turn, responded when roused in the stretch, and won clear under steady handling. KEEP UP THE PACE went four-wide through the first turn, then tracked up close wide down the backstretch, was the only one to go after EASY AS PIE late on the far turn, was no match but chased that rival home clear of the next horse. ALL IN OKIE was never far back, saved ground to the far turn, chased the top pair home while a long way back to the next finisher. GOSPEL DON tracked close up between rivals then flattened out in the stretch. CODE ELEVEN raced at the back of the main pack to the far turn, dropped off the pace and had little to offer in the stretch. THOUSAND CHANCES tracked behind the leader through the early stages, , and could not muster a late bid. EURA HAPPY HIPPIE off slowly after EASY AS PIE came over and took the path at the start, raced well back and showed little interest. KID COMMISH dropped far behind early and was never a factor.
