DIXIE SURPRISE raced five wide entering the first turn, rated off the top trio up the backstretch, advanced to take over the lead at the quarter pole, quickly widened to a commanding advantage, tapped a couple times right handed past the furlong marker then finished ridden out. FOXTON raced three wide around the first turn and prompted the pace up the backstretch, vied inside of READY TIME into the far turn, got overtaken by the winner at the quarter pole, saved ground entering the lane, ran on and held place. READY TIME raced up close around the first turn and stalked up the backstretch, vied outside of FOXTON entering the far turn, got overtaken by the winner at the quarter pole, ran on into the lane and cleared the rest. CUZ WE LOVE BRODY raced in the back, saved ground and had no response when called upon. MORNING GLORY GOLD led the way around the first turn, set a pressured pace up the backstretch then came up empty around the final turn.
