LOVE ME A SUNSET broke well but settled off the early pace, made a forward move from the half-mile pole to loom three-wide approaching the quarter pole, gained the advantage from a pair of stubborn rivals in mid-stretch, and pulled clear under steady handling. SECURED bobbled at the start, then hustled away from the gate, pressed the pace three-wide into the turn, then advanced through the turn to challenge for the lead near the quarter pole, battled the winner gamely in upper stretch, but gave way late in a good effort. SHERI'S PRADA gained the advantage under some pressure, moved to a solo lead late down the backstretch run, dug in under a threat near the quarter pole but gave way in deep stretch. METHODS tracked wide down the backstretch, made a sweeping move through the turn, then bid five-wide into the stretch and improved. YODA WINNER broke out and bumped KINKY MOON at the start, did not engage early, moved up from last late on the backstretch, was unable to quicken with the leaders in the late stages, but kept on with some interest down the stretch. MOON CRATER got put in a bit tight after the start, then was forwardly placed to the turn, then dropped off the pace and went evenly through the lane. KINKY MOON veered out after getting bumped at the start and was under pressure early, raced mid-pack, then put to urging midway through the turn and had nothing left to give in the stretch. SAY AS I SAY was floated out wide after the start, was nine or ten wide down the backside, was able to get over and save some ground through the turn before flattening out in the stretch. RICH GIFT was mid-pack early, then dropped to last going into the turn and was not a factor in the late stages. FINENESS raced just behind the leading group down the backstretch, weakened on the turn, and was outrun in the stretch. BEVERLY DINER was under a drive from the start, was close up for the first quarter mile, then started a steady retreat on the turn, and had nothing left for the stretch. CALEB'S CANDY veered out and was outrun from the start, moved up going into the turn, drifted out to about the six or seven path, was eased and galloped out to the finish, and walked off.
