Chart notes
DIVINE ROMANCE was reserved off the pace, rallied five-wide into the stretch, took the lead at the sixteenth pole and gradually edged clear. SHINING SPIRIT prompted EXPLOSIVE EXCHANGE acing two-wide, responded when asked and held on gamely during the drive. CONQUEST DANCER was close-up early racing along the inside, dropped back slightly on the turn, then angled out to be four-wide nearing the quarter pole and finished strongly. FANCY PRINCESS was prominently placed racing three-wide but lacked a rally. EXPLOSIVE EXCHANGE saved ground setting the pace to near the stretch and tired. FOREST ACCLAMATION hopped at the start then was unhurried, came six-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten.
