Chart notes
BALLYKEEFE saved ground setting the pace in hand, turned back a bid from MINISTER CONFESSOR nearing the quarter pole and gradually increased her advantage. MINISTER CONFESSOR tracked BALLYKEEFE while racing two-wide, moved up to offer a bid to that one nearing the quarter pole but was unable to match strides with him during the drive and held on well for second. LUCKY ESTHER was allowed to settle racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. RESEARCH TRIANGLE was reserved off the pace, came three-wide into the stretch and finished in a late rally. COMPANION saved ground racing in the middle of the field, came two-wide into the stretch and was gaining late. JAVA TALES was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and was not a factor. GOOD GOLLY MSFOLLY dropped well back early while saving ground and failed to menace. MYRNA chased the early pace from along the inside and tired.
