BAXTER tracked the pace in early stages, was ridden along two wide into the upper stretch then shifted to the inside, challenged SKALKAHO for the lead, put a head in front, dueled gamely from the inside, raced noses apart approaching the wire and got nipped in final stride. LA FEE'S SECRET tracked the early pace, loomed three wide near the quarter pole, hustled along three wide into the upper stretch, weakened off the top pair but kept on for a share. FIVE CHARLIE raced in the back, swung wide into the stretch and improved position without threatening. MEEKER sat off the early pace, chased three to four wide around the turn then shifted in two wide and failed to move on.
