Chart notes
TAKE ME SERIOUS had good speed from the break, secured the inside position on the first turn, went a length clear turning down the backstretch, was getting some mild pressure from several rivals in pursuit, quickened through the far turn, then responded to steady handling and urging to hold safe to the wire. DOUDOUDOUWANADANCE raced in the middle of the forward group through the first turn, moved up to pressure the pace just to the outside of TAKE ME SERIOUS, pulled even at the quarter pole, but could not get past that rival, losing ground to the finish. TALKIN CADEE raced close up along the rail, became boxed in late on the turn, finished well under urging, and just missed second. ANGEL KISS settled mid-pack inside, responded when asked to go, drifted out in the stretch. C W CHARM was not asked for early speed and angled to the inside when clear, settled well behind the main pack and was eight to ten lengths in arrears going down the backstretch, responded went set down with three furlongs to run, finished up well but could not make up the needed ground. MAYBE DOLCIE tracked close up three-to-four wide, moved up to challenge for the lead approaching the three-furlong pole, bid four-wide into the stretch and could only manage an even finish. LA MORENA settled near the back of the main pack, not far from the front, made a three-wide move under drive but was outfinished. CATALE WINEMIXER showed good speed from the break, then was taken in hand, tracked between horses down the backstretch, then was unable to kick on with the rest in the stretch and was unable to improve. SHORT STRETCH broke well, then dropped far behind, was eased and pulled up in the stretch, and walked off.
