Chart notes
CHEERFUL TROUT reserved off the pace to be the trailer on the far turn, narrowed the gap on the bend, angled five wide turning for home, closed well to quickly take command midway down the lane and was going away at the wire in hand. BLUESUP GREENSDOWN prompted the pace down the backside, rallied from between rivals to take a short lead at the quarter pole, was no match for the winner and finished gamely to claim the place. STARSHIP LEGACY tracked the leader from striking distance down the backside, rallied four wide on the turn to loom and flattened out in mid-stretch. ENGLISH INDY set the pace under mild pressure on a well rated lead, had no answer when engaged nearing the quarter pole and faded in the lane.
