Chart notes
OGALLALA broke well and went to the front, maintained a length or two advantage throughout while under tight hold, opened up in the stretch, and held safe to the wire. GRAZEN GATOR was allowed to settle from the break, showed no speed, then moved up late on the backstretch run, made a nice middle move through the turn to loom a threat four-wide turning for home, was never getting to the winner but finished well to win the battle for second. CADEN'S GIRL broke on top but was overtaken early by OGALLALA, tracked just behind that one into the turn, came under a ride as the leading pair got away late on the turn finished well but came up short in the battle for the place. HOOK EM UP broke slowly and was slow into stride, chased OGALLALA through the early stages, tried to go on with that one late on the turn, but tired from those efforts and faded in the stretch. PARK IN THE DARK raced mid-pack two-wide, was under a stiff drive on the turn, but was outfinished in the stretch. LUCKY AND DARING was briefly in the early mix, then struggled to keep up through the turn and had little to offer late. MARK THE DATE got away to a level beginning with the rest, was outpaced down the backstretch, dropped to the back, and was unable to menace. HAZHONI settled inside, tracked in the middle of the pack down the backstretch, then dropped back heading into the turn and was not a factor in the late stages. This race had a timing malfunction or discrepancy and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
