Chart notes
BEER RUN set a pressured early pace from the inside through the far turn, responded well when asked and kicked to a clear lead nearing the sixteenth pole under strong handling. CLEAR THE BEACH stalked the pace two from the outside, dug in deep stretch racing four wide and narrowly secured the place position. HOMER'S ODYSSEY rated along the inside, continued its rail bid through the stretch run and finished willingly to the wire. MARY'S LAD (IRE) settled early on, raced four to five wide through the far turn and had no final winning bid. LIAM'S LAGOON raced mid pack in the early stages, made a two to four wide bid in the drive and needed more. LOWER BROADWAY pressed two deep from the outside of Beer Run and weakened through the drive. MR BOBO settled early on racing in hand, shifted in to saved ground and lacked a rally. FREEDOM STREET rated along from the outside, was five wide through the turn and had no response. OUTOFPI forced out, checked early, trailed into the far turn, raced three to two wide in the stretch and never threatened. O' PATRICK checked in the early stages, raced six wide into the upper stretch and never threatened. KINGSMERE raced with the second flight, was four to five wide into the upper lane and never was a factor. PEIXE raced near the inside around the far turn, shifted out a bit and failed to respond. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
