Chart notes
SERENADER settled inside early, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole, came out three-wide for the stretch run, made the lead with a furlong to go, and held on grimly to prevail. KARAOKE HERO made a steady advance up the backstretch after the break to bid three-wide on the turn, had every chance in the stretch but could not reel in the winner. HOSER SATRAPA went to the front from the break while getting some pressure to the outside from CHINO MIRAGE, went clear of the field with three furlongs to go gave way readily under pressure before the furlong marker, and was outfinished. NINE LIVES ELMER settled in third position a few lengths behind the leading pair, advanced from the three-furlong pole under a drive then lacked a winning kick. RAIL RUNNER lacked any speed and was last down the backstretch, dropped down to the rail late on the turn, and finished with some mild interest. CHINO MIRAGE stalked the pace while clear of the rest, then gave way midway on the turn with nothing left to give in the stretch.
