JUANA RUMBLE was four-wide but rated nicely in the early pace scramble, took command late on the turn, and drew off late while under a mild hand ride. DISTORTED GUY was briefly close up before dropping back before the turn, switched to the outside to make a four-wide sweeping move on the turn, rallied into the second position despite lugging in, but could not get to the winner. DESERT PUNK missed the break, to be well off the leaders at the rear of the field, commenced a steady, long drive on the turn, and finished with a late gain along the inside to be up for the show. DORA'S STORM pressed the early pace from the inside, dropped out of the battle with three furlongs to run, then was unable to find the needed response in the later stages. AMERICAN RED was under a hard ride from the start, was unable to get involved in the early pace contest, then flattened out in the stretch. MARK ME IN chased from mid-pack through the early stages, launched a bid leaving the three-furlong pole, made a bid up the rail into the stretch, but lacked the needed late kick. TAZ MARKING was three-deep in the early pace battle, went on with JUANA RUMBLE late on the turn, then weakened in the final furlong. HARRYS CHANCE contested the early pace from between horses, backed out after passing the half-mile pole, and chased the rest of the trip. This race had a timing malfunction or discrepancy and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
