Chart notes
BEAU VERO was a bit keen in the early stages, then settled in-hand just behind the pace three-wide, ranged up through the turn looking for an opening, deftly navigated through a seam in upper stretch, then responded to strong handling and urging to prevail. MY ADDICTION took a slight bump at the start, tracked four-deep from the middle of the pack, made a four-to-five wide bid into the stretch, and finished up well but could not overcome the winner. EXTREMELY WICKED settled near the back after the break, advanced under a drive from the three-furlong pole, bid four-wide into the stretch, and was closing late but ran out of time. LAUGH OF THE PARTY hustled from the break and cleared off early, dueled with FINALLY AND EDDIE through the turn and into the stretch, then weakened late. FINALLY AN EDDIE threw the head up then rushed up after the slow start to press the pace two-deep, bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, was unable to shake LAUGH OF THE PARTY in upper stretch, and weakened in the late stages. RIO CUTIE was outrun from the break, went four-wide through the turn to seven-wide into the stretch, and was gaining some in the late stages. THREE MARTINIS raced in mid-pack two-deep, took an inside path into the stretch, and finished with some late interest while unable to threaten. WATTS broke in and bumped MY ADDICTION, then raced five-to-six wide throughout and lacked a rally. AARON WHO lunged at the start, saved ground in mid-pack, then tired in the stretch. ALWAYS FIRING pressed the pace three-wide then weakened in upper stretch. THE JOCKEY ON #5 RIO CUTIE LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST #6 BEAU VERO ALLEGING INTERFERENCE SHORTLY AFTER THE START. AFTER A BRIEF REVIEW THE STEWARD DISALLOWED THE OBJECTION AND THE ORIGINAL RESULTS WERE MADE OFFICIAL. This race had a timing malfunction or discrepancy and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
