Chart notes
OLIVER TIZ saved ground setting the pace and gradually drew clear. HACKSAW MOUNTAIN saved ground while being allowed to settle, came two-wide into the stretch and finished well for second with being able to threaten the winner. MORE THAN ORDINARY chased OLIVER TIZ racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and weakened late. MELVINS LUTE gave ay after showing brief speed. MY FRIEND JOHN was unhurried while racing two-wide and failed to seriously threaten. MILKMAN EXPRESS was off a step slow then dropped well back and was pulled up nearing the turn and then walked off following the race.
