Chart notes
JOHNNY'S RED STORM got away well, quickly made the lead, set the pace inside facing moderate pressure, kicked clear when roused, held sway. OBLITERATION got away well, settled outside stalking the eventual winner three to four wide, was no match but kept on to preserve the place. AZIZAM (GB) was a bit slow to gather, advanced between foes at the back then from off the rail on the turn, moved out six wide turning for home, loomed a threat coming to the furlong marker but flattened out. TWILIGHT DELIGHT was well-placed soon after the start, pressed the eventual winner from between runners two to three wide, had a bit of trouble cornering, lacked the needed late kick. LONGSHOREMAN was a bit rank in behind runners three to four wide early, shifted in a bit at the five-sixteenths, tipped out in late stretch, kept on with interest and just missed rounding out the super. WIN N JUICE raced between foes in the second flight early, switched out past the half, went three to four wide just off the leaders after, swung six wide into upper stretch, made no late bid. TRENDSETTER settled outside at the rear, went three to four wide through the turn, was carried out by a rival in upper stretch, kept on. LAWYER MASON settled inside at the rear, angled out past the eighth pole, ran on. ZEUS'S ECHO chased from inside, came up empty. TELECASTER chased from off the inside but lacking sufficient early speed, raced three to five wide through the turn, drifted out in upper stretch, faded. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
