Chart notes
FORTUNE SELLER prompted the pace to midway on the far turn, rallied three wide to engage the leader turning for home, battled that one down the lane, took the lead inside the eighth pole in a determined drive and just held the closer safe at the wire. SWISS SLANG unhurried to be well off the pace to the far turn, circled five wide under a steady advance, continued to close with a steady bid on the outside and just missed. ROYAL LUCK (CHI) reserved off the pace for the first five-eighths, rallied into the final turn with a sustained bid and finished well in the lane with a late gain betwen rivals. I LUCKED OUT set the pace on a clear lead at a quick tempo, responded well with something left in the tank for the drive and was overtaken in the final eighth in a game effort. SLIM SLOW SLIDER stalked the pace from the inside to the far turn, wited behind rivals on the bend when boxed-in, split horses turning for home and was unable to get passed in the lane when outkicked. DECLARED was not a threat.
