Chart notes
LOUISIANIMAL stalked the pace to the turn, rallied four wide to engage the leaders at the quarter pole, dueled to midway down the lane and pulled away in the final sixteenth. LEONARD'S LEGACY prompted the early pace after breaking alertly, settled just off the pacesetter down the backsid, rallied between on the turn to vie for the lead to mid-stretch, was no match late and finished well as se cond best. BEACH HOLIDAY reserved off the pace racing near the rear of the pack into the turn while four wide, angled eight wide at the top of the stretch and mounted a late bid for the show. DUEL FUEL went evenly failing to menace. GEPARD sped to the lead down the backside to be clear at the half mile pole, had no answer when challenged at the quarter pole and gave way through the lane. BRENNAN'S WAR rallied five wide on the turn with a bid to prominence and flattened out turning for home. UNCLE JOCK was not a factor.
