Chart notes
OUTHUSTLE set a pressured pace while under solid restraint, responded when called upon turning for home to maintain the advantage and held the closer safe in the final sixteenth. THALBERG reserved off the pace in the early going, circled five wide coming for home and mounted a steady, grinding rally on the outside to be narrowning the margin in the lane. BARTULIA unhurried early to be the trailer racing seven wide down the backside, angled in saving ground on the bend while still at the back, angled back out seven wide for the runn down the lane and mounted a belated bid to be gaining. AQUITANIA ARRIVAL pressed the pace into the turn, rallied to threaten at the quarter pole, failed to pass and ran-on through the lane. SPAN OF CONTROL tracked the leaders from between rivals through the turn and lacked a response when called upon for the drive. SHY DA RUNNER was well placed along the fence through the turn and faded in the stretch.
