Chart notes
PERIDOT PENDANT set the pace in the two path, was coaxed midway around the turn, briefly faced an outer challenger passing the quarter, but kicked away from that foe from along the rail in upper stretch and went clear. DAKOTA SPRINGS prompted the pace in the three path, bid after the quarter, and kept on, but was repelled by the winner down the stretch. LASTCHANCE ROMANCE trailed in the three path, was ridden in the four path around the turn, fanned out to the six path at the top of the lane, and rallied late. CARDINAL WAR CRY had an awkward start, raced up close along the inside, was roused passing the three-eighths pole, angled out to the five path passing the furlong grounds, but faded. HOUSE OF MAGIC steadied at the start, chased in the two path, was driven in the three path around the turn, but weakened from the five path down the lane.
