SHAUN'S JAZZ set the pace racing removed from the rail, responded when challenged by BERT'S PROSPECT on the far turn, came three-wide into the stretch then drifted out the final eighth making contact with BERT'S PROSPECT several times and prevailed narrowly then was placed second via disqualification./. BERT'S PROSPECT was forwardly placed racing three-wide, moved up to off a bid nearing the three-eighths pole then was four-wide into the stretch then was brushed repeatedly and carried out by SHAUN'S JAZZ during the drive and finished strongly then was awarded the win via disqualifcation. GYPSY GUN was in the back of the field early, came four-wide into the stretch and rallied late. STEPHEN JAMES prompted the early pace from between horses then dropped back slightly, came five-wide into the stretch and weakened. WAR CHEST stumbled at the start then saved ground while being unhurried and was not a factor. FOLLOWING A STEWARD INQURY AND AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF BERT'S PROSPECT AGAINST SHAUN'S JAZZ THE STEWARDS RULED THAT THAT ONE CAUSED INTERFERNCE DURING THE STRETCH RUN AND DISQUALIFIED HIM FROM FIRST AND PLACED HIM SECOND.
