Chart notes
L SQUARED broke best then ceded the front to BIG STETSON, was held up just behind that one through the turn, then ranged up near the quarter pole under confident handling, did not change leads through the stretch but still pulled clear in the end under a hand ride. HONOR THE GIANTS settled at the rear after the start, moved up through the turn, then finished up well but could not get to the winner. BIG STETSON dueled inside of L SQUARED before giving way in mid-stretch. GANGSTER pressed the pace four-wide, then was unable to muster anything in the late stages. PONDEROSA raced five-wide down the backstretch, continued wide through the turn and lacked a late bid. RUNAWAY HEAT pressed then tracked the leaders three-deep, did not respond when asked to go on late on the turn and faded in the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
