Chart notes
ROSE A rated nicely near the rail while the rest of the field went a bit wide down the backstretch, responded when put to a drive midway through the turn, took the lead in upper stretch, drifted in through the late stages but held of a late bid to prevail. CORRINA CORRINA was last early, steadily advanced forward down the backstretch and into the turn, responded when asked to go on just past the three-furlong pole, bid four-wide into the stretch, steadily closed the gap on the leader but could not get there in time. TIANMA assumed the early lead racing about three paths from the rail down the backstretch, was able to quicken approaching the quarter pole, but left the rail open for the eventual winner, then weakened in mid-stretch. POWER CONNECTION broke well but ceded the front, tracked close up without being asked, moved up to challenge for the lead approaching the three-furlong pole, loomed a threat at the top of the stretch but was outkicked in the final furlong. LOVE TANK settled four to five wide and last in the compact field, was put into a drive when the pace quickened late on the turn, but could not make an impact in the late stages. NOT NOW VICTORIA raced about five-wide early, struggled to keep up as the pace picked up on the turn, and was outrun through the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
