Chart notes
LADY LILYLOU prompted the pace racing three-wide, took the lead entering the stretch and gradually drew clear. LOW MOON vied for the lead with CRACKLE from along the inside, responded when headed by LADY LILYLOU entering the stretch but was not match for that one but held on well for second in a good effort. CLAY BASKET steadied shortly after the start while being carried into the inside rail by A BETTER WORLD then was allowed to settle, ,moved up four-wide to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole and then flattened out during the drive. CRACKLE vied for the early lead with LOW MOON and weakened during the drive. A BETTER WORLD broke in sharply at the start then dropped back and trailed.
