Chart notes
HUNTERTOWN was reserved off the pace racing two-wide, rallied four-wide the final quarter and was up inside the sixteenth pole to win going away. IMTAKINITTOTHEBANK saved ground setting the pace, settled into the stretch with a clear lead but was unable to resist the winner late. COACH CAMPBELL was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. SHIPSHAPE saved ground while being allowed to settle and went evenly. K W CAPTAIN HOOK prompted IMTAKINITTOTHEBANK from along the outside to the stretch and tired. BETTERING hopped at the start to get away behind the field then raced in the back, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten.
